Romeo Romano Gardens

The public gardens known as Romeo Romano Gardens were born out of a desire to preserve the existing cultural and environmental heritage along with the integration of innovative solutions for implementing greenery in urban areas. The strategy of the project is sustainability integrated with the antique features.

The main focus of this conservation project was to maintain all existing paths and trees and to emphasize the authentic character of the garden while integrating functions more similar to today’s collective activities

Defined pathways were created within the garden and new equipment was installed for recreational and educational purposes without affecting its baroque layout. The sensitivity of the restoration and the minimalism of the new intervention ensure total respect for the existing site and contribute to the social gathering of the community.
